Placed me in check but there wasn't. Could not get the app to undo/correct it. Deleted app.

This game won’t let you even let you move anything when your king is in check except the king; but I could have moved my queen to save my king but it wouldn’t let me, and when I was in checkmate I had another way out, and that was to move my queen; and then the game froze. So if your looking to find a good digital chess game go to Chess-Offline Board Game. U can’t even load the game with out going thru 2 ads

Simple app - ran into a bug where it said I was in check mate, but no pieces had me in check.

I paid to have the ads turned off and every time I start up the game I have to watch an ad. I’m not sure what’s up with that. Other than that it’s a good chess game.

The app provider keeps you out of the app if you don’t down load other apps Enjoyed it until I fell in to that check mate.

What my title said. Didn’t used to be this way. Ridiculous.

What is the point of downloading an app only to be bombarded with ads? At least let the user play their first game before you show ads.

The ads won’t go away, nor does it allow me to close out of it.

I do not even know how to play chess

It’s cool. Just two things. The ads are aggravating, way too long when they pop up! Also some of the draws shouldn’t be draws, just let the game keep going unless it’s a stalemate. The fact you have to either undo or start a new game if I have 6 to 1 pieces on the board should not happen but then you pick continue, you have to wait for that long ad to finish playing every time! That makes me want to stop playing it.

Adds have gotten out of control on this app and now they pause the game in the middle of the game to show you more adds!

This is awesome! Been playing this game for ages and it keeps me on my toes! One of the best by Optime! Been playing since I was 8 and have a hard time finding my level of play.

I’m not learning any strategies from this, so what’s the point for me to play this, the app doesn’t even teach you how to play and when you put it all the way hard, it takes forever to make a move, I mean I get that it’s trying to tell you how it moves. But for the sake of time MOVE FASTER.

I’m 2200 on chess.com and played the 70 percent difficulty and it’s very annoying that all it plays is the Sicilian make it play something else

The annoying thing about the app is that I caught it changing pieces twice and if you some how manage to get it in to compromising position it will force a draw. It’s really hard to beat when it does these things. It does a I pass on random objects as a glitch. It’s already hard, so why does it cheat? Or why does it repay the same moves and force a draw. And why, when I actually get all the pieces of the board and it’s left with just a king it says draw!!!!!!

There needs to be in the setting to control to automatic draws with the computer. I had a knight, bishop, queen and I newly promoted queen and the game called stalemate, all the computer had was a king left. It should’ve been a automatic win if anything

I really really would like if you could add the naming conventions to the outside of the board in a soft color/font and maybe make it an optional toggle or something. That is important for new players. Also it plays very weird, I keep getting A5 as a response to my E4 that is super weird it has been like 6 times in a row.

Way too many ads to start a game and if you minimize the game and start it up again, you’ll be seeing even more ads. Give us the option to pay without ads.

This app is trash. Littered with ads that you cannot dismiss even after 1 minute.

Can’t finish game

Absolute trash of an app. It started out great, but then it would literally make illegal moves and take random material. I wish I could give it 0 stars.

My app games do not castle on either side of the board. Computer moves too fast. There is no prediction to the computer’s moves. Makes the game boring - I’m not a good chess player love the game!

I enjoy playing the levels but the ads are not optional like for play ads for free rewards.. there is an ad when we start the game and end the game.. it’s taking away the fun of playing even when you are playing with computer

The game never ends when the computer has me in check mate. I just can’t make any moves and need to restart the game. Also, the computer move so fast, I don’t also know if they took one of my pieces, so it would be nice if that got highlighted and/or if the game showed what pieces are off the board.

They only apply the rules for them to win and they don’t use the book Hoyle. Don’t think that you’re gonna get a stalemate or anything else, but yet they will.
