Chess Free is a great opportunity to play the game at different levels on the go. It allows you to try different strategies using easily levels, and challenge yourself at a higher stage.

App is excellent, but needs some app improvements. Like wise sometimes computer makes a quick movement that I could not notice what item was moved ? Last move on both sides should be highlighted, makes the player better

Its a fun app, but the game freezes and will not allow you to move

I just noticed the other reviews that said that the computer on the highest difficulty refuses to lose. Im play pretty well at chess and I almost checkmated the computer and the turn before it, it said checkmate and that the computer won instead of me. I tried other games and it prevents me from making simple legal moves. Cheeky

Chess Free is a grrrrreat app!!! Its very challenging and easy to use. Time practically flies by while ur playing!!! Highly recommended!!!!!

A perfect app to play around with when u have no wifi. And I learn from my mistakes also. I dont believe the computer cheats at all. Either youre good or not.

They are using illegal moves and cheating . And I love chess . Im only 10 years old . This game got me very mad

I only tried to play one game but it wouldnt let me move every few turns without restarting

Total junk. Says checkmate when there was no checkmate, and would not say checkmate when there was checkmate.

I love the interface, and it has everything that I need. Five out of five stars. Everyones in a while I press the add at the bottom of the screen, but thats a small sacrifice for a nice looking chess board.

The ads are annoying and the game will occasionally end with checkmate even though you arent even in check. So stupid

When ever my army is in danger I cant move it where ever I want and it get annoying on so many levels. So it needs to change there is no way to win beacause of it.Also I dont care if I lose a troop its just one dont control me Im a free man. Change it just change it.

The ads ruined this apps. Before it lets you play it makes you sit through stupid ads. Not worth it at all.

The game itself is good, I like that it allows you to change the difficulty but whats really annoying is that it wont allow you to do something thats gonna make you win or lose. Like for instance I my queen could have captured the computers rook without ending up in "harms way". I reviewed the board several times wondering why it wouldnt let me make the move and there was nothing that would get my queen or kind captured it just wouldnt let me take the rook. It was really annoying especially cause it happens in every game and I keep reviewing the board to see whats wrong but nothing is.

Was pretty much what I had expected. Good game. Simplistic format. Good game
